It was Our final night supporting Thirsty Merc on their "Rock ya Socks off" tour.

Having had such an awesome couple of days with the Merc's and Co previously, i decided to take my camera along in the attempt to capture the last moments of what i knew was going to be an awesome night.

Luckily before hand staff had lit candles and placed them around the venue. Little did they know that these little tea candles were going to be the only source of light for the next 40 minutes..

THE SHOW MUST GO ON!

With the help of Ray we gathered the multitudes into a romantic campfire semi circle and sang our little hearts out to a crowed of silhouettes.

It was marvelous.

To be honest its probably going be one of the most memorable shows we have ever done?

As i cant sing and take photos at the same time i don't have any pictures of us singing in the dark buuuuuut.... i managed to get something even better hehe.... Ray & Phill in their improv acoustic set. Very dark. Very soulful . Very sexy.

I felt like i was a part of something really special.

AND THEN...

THERE WAS LIGHT!!!!

(Que CHEERING!)

I don't know about you but every time I see a shoe on a wire AKA 'Shoefiti' I always try to pick out the house that sells the drugs, cause that's what it means right? Atleast that's what I was told in highschool 'Crack tennies' (Tennies=Tennis shoes, sneakers,joggers) I believe thats what they called e'm back then (Cause it was so long ago).

So I've been doing a little bit of research and aparently 'Shoefetti' can mean a whole range of things as does the type of shoe! Which spoils the fun of "I spy with my little eye something begining with CRACK HOUSE" but hey, Its not gunna stop me.

So here are some other global reasons as to why some people practice this widespread and mysterious act of shoe flinging :

Soldiers leaving the Military often spray paint there combat boots yellow or orange and fling them over a telegraph or electricity line near the unit/barracks to which they were assigned on the leaving of their service.Hmmmm interesting and kool.

Gang related shoe flinging, marking gang territory,I'd say these are usually joggers? BAHAHhahah. "This is my territory punk. Can't you see my sneakers on the wire! Get Lost"

The end of a school year (schools shoes) .Fun.

A forth coming marrige (Does not specify shoe type).

Your plain old Bullying tactic. Steal someones shoes and throw them over a line to get back at them/practical joke to do to drunkards (Probably your thongs)

Keeps your property safe from ghosts. So i think the house next to the photo i have attatched just above is either Ghost free for life or its Charlie sheens house.

Ooorrr its a sign of someone leaving the neighbourhood onto bigger and better things.

I wouldn't be suprised if Real Estate agents start using it as a selling point "It means the value of the property in this region is going to rise"

To sum it all up, I guess only each individual really know's why his or her shoes are hanging from the wire.

We all want it, we all need it, How on earth do we get on it?

There has been some specualtion as to how one can find themselves on 'Hunters top ten List'.Some say its the scent you excrete? Whilst other say its Pure Awesome'ness. Not just your average run of the mill awesome'ness like Strawberry's and cream lollies, a magazine Subscription, the glass you leave in the freezer so your drink gets extra cold, cause I have that and im not on the list. Im talking Liam Nesson awesome! So more along the lines of see-through umbrella's, Micheal Jackson memorabillia, a glass piano or you are in fact an animal? This is some high level koolness, koolness one does to aquire by burping the alphabet, growing a key llyod or being in a magazine (See what i've done there, I spelt 'Kool' with a 'K' thats what Cool people do).
I thaught I was doing okay.Obviously not.I can feel the world crumbling around me.

I cant quite put my finger on what makes this list so disirable to be on, maybe because it will complete me? Could be because its in his "MMIIYYNNDD" could be beeecccaaauuusee I DONT KNOW OKAY! Even now I look at the photo above and the reason is right on the tip of my tounge but then I have to swallow cause ive been holding my breath for five minutes and the reason why escapes me.

He is very cool. but thats not it

He may even know how to pull a rabbit out of a hat and then make it do a cart wheel.But thats just not it.

Does the list change?
Does the list give us special privillages?
Does the list give me super powers?
When did he first start putting this list together?
Is the list bribe'able?

So many questions.

I imagine the list to look something look something like marauder's map from Harry Potter and if I looked at it I wouldn't see anything but paper creases and food smudges! Its probably in his room somewhere! He just say's its in his mind but really its in his room, but no one can see it!

Levi is number one and Lenny is number two and he is closely followed by Taryn .

Tomorrow I will be taking up Contemporary dance,buying a dog collar and sending Hunter flowers.

On December 8 , 1980 Leibovitz had a shoot with John Lennon for Rolling Stone. She had initially tried to get a picture with just Lennon alone, wich is what Rolling Stone wanted, But Lennon insisted that both he and Yoko Ono be on the front cover together. She had John remove his clothes and curl up next to Yoko. Leibovitz recalls, " What is interesting is she said she'd take her top off and i said , 'Leave everything on' You couldn't help but feel she was cold and he looked like he was clinging on to her. So its the 9th of November 2009, its hot, its heaven and its blowin 6 knots?...ITS SUMMER! And when I woke up this morning the first thought that crept into my mind was 'I wish I could eat rice with chop sticks' What? Didn't you think that when you woke up this morning,no?

As a big take away fan due to the fact that I can only cook 2 meals Spaghetti & weatbix ooorrr maybe because I always find myself to far away from home for anyone to make me a home cooked meal I happily revert to what is most commonly known as TAKE OUT aka: 'chopsticks' except I couldn't use them if my life depended on it! And don't bother looking for 'Chopsticks for Dummies' cause there isn't one, I tried! In saying that I have figured out three possible techniques that get the food out of the bowl and into my mouth

#1. I join both sticks together and scoop it out like a shovel

#2. (for bigger chunks) use one stick to jab a whole through the middle and lift out

#3.Do what looks like everyone else is doing until my hands and fingers cramp to which point you can hear "okay where's the fork" very rarely I get to this point but I don't want to lie to you, I have eaten Asian Cuisine with a fork. Which to me ruins the whole experience but its either that or i die of starvation .life wins.

So with chopsticks on my mind I get out of my p'js and take a stroll down the street.Look in the usual shops,eat in the usual cafe,walk in the library,walk out of the library,ignore the cabby's all leaning up against there cars at the taxi rank and then look in the $2.00 shop for today's new bargain.The first isle, Kids dress up's, the very common rainbow wig alongside the fairy wand that's next to the glowing vampire teeth that sits next to the fake spew,fake poo,fake fingers and fake eyeballs!I want them all but resist!!! Next isle(don't worry there is only 3 isles) so isle two, pillows,blankets, those silk puffy coat hangers your nan makes,soap, you get the picture Neeexxxttt! Isle three cups, trays, scissors, plastic checkered table clothes, fish shaped egg cookers ,bread bag clips alongside 3 different types of can openers and low and behold 'Easy To Use Chopsticks' !!!! They look like giant clothes pegs,only, BETTER! Two sticks joined together with a spring like contraption at the top! and come in 4 different colours ,I couldn't help myself i bought 2 sets of each 2xblue 2xred 2xyellow 2xgreen..my life just became 8 times easier in one day!

Tonight I shall get Asian Cuisine! Take that fork'n spoon

and the rest is history..........................until I loose them........
